Christine Interview: by LucybonesSquirrel

LucybonesSquirrel: Alright. Soon I'll be having another Conker character on interview, and she'll be here very soon. Now, this is her first time being interviewed, so she might be on the reserved side.

*Hears someone falling over just outside.*

LucybonesSquirrel: Hm, could that be her? *Opens door and sees a gray squirrel lady laying down, wearing almost ripped-off clothes.*

Christine: Where's my shades... Oh, that light... Turn off those lamps!! I can't stand it!!

LucybonesSquirrel: *gets her shades and gives them to her.* Hey Christine, glad you had the time to come!

Christine:*Puts her glasses on* who, what...? Oh, it's you.

LucybonesSquirrel: Yep. I take it you don't stand any form of light.

Christine: Yeah. It's a bit of a bother really. I like the dark best these days.

LucybonesSquirrel: Come in.

Christine: Where should I sit?

LucybonesSquirrel: Anywhere you like.

Christine: Alright.

LucybonesSquirrel: Ok. Now, you've been lying on your back underground for over 100 years. How is it like being back on your feet again?

Christine: Well, it feels refreshing. Never felt better. Gotta worry about other people spotting my true look, and having my revenge on that Count.

LucybonesSquirrel: Oh yes. You're referring to Count Batula, am I right?

Christine: Yeah, that's the guy. He buried me in an grave somewhere in his backyard when I fell asleep. When I woke up I had no idea where I was. Feeling panicked, I tried to bang my way out with no luck. After over 100 years trying to break free from my grave I finally made it back to the living world. At first I was relieved to still be alive, but when I heard my voice I thought something wasn't right. I went into the Count's mansion, halting on my leg a bit since I were a bit out of shape. When I looked at myself in a mirror I saw the true sight; I had turned into a undead! My clothes were almost teared up, I had scratches on my body, one of my eyes were hanging out from it's socket, while the other one was all white. A nearly lifeless version of myself. I tried to forget what I saw by singing, but my voice just kept sounding dull. I almost broke down in tears...

LucybonesSquirrel: Alright. Were you alone in the mansion?

Christine: No. There were others in the mansion, and some of them looked even worse than me, like they had been thrown into a grinder. and worse; they were undeads, and I was one of them! Deciding not to spend my time walking around like a mindless nut, I started heading towards the corridors. The corridors were extremely dark, but I didn't stop. I just wanted to get out of that place as fast as possible. Along the way I began getting scared, and it didn't make me feel better when I suddenly heard noises. I stopped for awhile to calm myself. I then felt something touching me. I gave it a big hit with my fist. As I reached my hand to grab a candle I saw right next to me, I lit it up and held it where the source of terror was; I had knocked down a zombie! But when I turned my back, it began rising up again and started running towards me. I panicked very hard and ran away as fast as I could.

LucybonesSquirrel: Ok. So how did you get out of the mansion?

Christine: I can't remember very well... only thing I can recall is I kept running, hearing lots of zombies behind me. Then... Oh, I remember now. While trying to find a way out I came to the big hall that I first appeared in when entering the mansion. There was this big door. Unfortunately it was locked, and with the zombies approaching me from behind I didn't have time to go and look for any key, so I ran to the library as fast as my legs could bear me. What I did next I don't know, but I must have opened a secret pathway in the library. I entered it and the wall shut itself closed. It was pitch dark in the tunnel, and I kept touching any wall I felt to make sure I wasn't trapped or anything...

LucybonesSquirrel: Alright. Did you manage to find a way out?

Christine: No. Or that's what I thought at first... At some point I seemed to have come to a dead end. Not knowing where I was, but still feeling the wall in front of me, I knew I was trapped. But then, I don't know how I did it, but the wall suddenly opened like a door, and I fell out to just outside the mansion! Apparently someone must have made this secret passageway to get out of the mansion when it wasn't possible to open the big door. Whether the Count made it, or someone else, I don't know. After getting myself up I shut the door quickly to make sure something bad wouldn't start to creep out of it, like a undead or something. I then left the mansion and ran off to find a much better place, far far away from the terrifying, gloomy misery that was the mansion I came to be buried at for more than 100 years! As the morning came I felt I should find myself a dark place to hide at. Eventually I arrived at the villagers town, and the sunlight coming from above started to burn on me.

LucybonesSquirrel: Well, glad you got out of that horrible, broken mansion at least! Say, how did you get those shades?

Christine: Ha ha... well, I was about to get to that part; with the sun cooking me from above, I saw a villager sunbathing at the beach. I noticed the shades he were wearing. I sneaked up to him from behind, and made sure nobody saw me. When I got close enough, I stole the shades from him! Lucky he was still asleep, or I would've been in big trouble. The darkness of those shades protected me from the light, so I was able to endure it all the way through, even at daytime. The rest is history from there on.

LucybonesSquirrel: Alright. Anyway, how did you come to meet Conker?

Christine: Well, if memory serves me correct, it was by accident. You see, I was just sitting outside at a café in Windy one day. Hearing the birds chirping in the trees made me want to sing, but I constantly failed to get my voice right. Just then someone sat himself right next to me with a pint of beer in his hand. I didn't know who he was, so I ignored him and began sipping on my glass. Out of the blue, the red squirrel saw me and asked me who I was. I told him my name, with him introducing himself as Conker T. Squirrel, and I thought that was that. He then asked me what I was doing here in Windy, considering we haven't met before. I said I was simply going out on a stroll, stopping by the café for a little drink. Conker noted that my drink looked rather red, almost like blood. I replied that it was Cherry juice.

LucybonesSquirrel: Ok, so far so good. What happened then?

Christine: Conker then asked me why I was wearing big shades on my face. I told him that I just like wearing them. He knew I was trying to hide something though, and asked me if I could show my face to him. I refused to take them off. He wasn't listening though and kept bugging me to take my shades off. I gave in and removed my shades, and boy was Conker in for a shock when he saw it for himself! He must have freaked out a little, since he started shouting out that a zombie was sitting next to him!! While nobody else was around luckily enough, I none the less told him to be quiet, not wanting anyone to suspect my true nature!

LucybonesSquirrel: Was that enough to convince him?

Christine: No. He kept trying to make it known that a undead was potentially gonna "eat him"! I tried to quiten him, but it was no use. Just then another squirrel lady, who was about the same size as him, had apparently heard the racket while she was shopping at a clothes store nearby and ran off to the café to see what was going on. Conker told the lady, who he referred to as Trish, that a zombie is sitting next to him and is about to kill him. Not knowing what else to do, I told her that it isn't what it looks like, that I'm just a half-undead squirrel lady who happens to be... well, undead, but still alive, and was just trying to live a life. Strangely enough this Trish lady believed me, but admits she was a bit startled to see my face at first.

LucybonesSquirrel: So what did Trish do to calm him down?

Christine: Well, since I was unable to convince Conker, Trish had to knock some sense into Conker by... grabbing his arm and fling him back and forth on the ground! After having knocked him back and forth, to make sure it really got into Conker's head, Trish then grabbed Conker by his shoulders and held him at her face, telling him that "this lady here is just trying to make herself feel at home in Windy, and pointing her out to people is only gonna make things worse. So you better stop calling her out and be nice to her, or you'll never get to say anything again for 15 weeks! Is that clear??". It sounded like she was threatening him, in some sense.

LucybonesSquirrel: Alright. What came of it all in the end?

Christine: Well, it must have worked, since Conker didn't even let out any word afterwards! Leaving Conker to think over what she just said to him, Trish put the shades back on my face and apologized for Conker's behaviour. I said that it's all fine, since nothing serious arised out of the situation. Trish told me that it is unusual to see undead people walking about in daylight, and she seemed quite excited about having the opportunity to meet one like me. After Conker had calmed down the three of us sat at down and chatted away. Conker apologized to me for what he did, and asked me if he could do anything for her to make up for it. Feeling the need for another glass of... that red stuff, I asked him to go and get one for me. He wondered what I meant by "that red stuff". Trish guessed I probably meant blood. Conker nervously swallowed a little upon hearing this. I assured both of them that I've begun to drink fake blood as a substitute, since drinking real blood makes me fall back into my old zombie habits which I'm now trying to avoid.

LucybonesSquirrel: Alright. So, what did you do after being at the café?

Christine: We went straight back to Conker's home, which apparently was a big castle. The insides though, looked nothing like a old medieval castle. It seemed more like a modest family home. I thought this was very cool, if I'm honest.

LucybonesSquirrel: What did his family think of you when they saw you?

Christine: Berri didn't seem to mind it much, but asked Conker why he had brought an almost tattered and rotten squirrel lady to their home. Cherri thought I looked cool, and I thought she was awesome. Cherri and I quickly became friends. I also play video games with her from time to time.

LucybonesSquirrel: Do they know that you're an undead?

Christine: They do now. After Trish had explained to them about my true nature and as to why I came to be the way I am, Berri and Cherri promised to keep my identity a secret from other people. Only they, Conker, Trish, Kiddy, and you know who I really am.

LucybonesSquirrel: Alright. So, what do you think about yourself today?

Christine: Well, if it weren't for that Count fellow I would have not only been a very successful tenor, but also one who many could have good memories of. As for today, well I have quite a few friends like Conker, Trish, and Kid Conker. Berri is a good person to talk with, and Cherri is probably the cutest, and coolest girl I've ever met.

LucybonesSquirrel: I understand. Can you still sing like you used to?

Christine: I've tried many times, but no matter what I do it still sounds awfully dull and toneless...

LucybonesSquirrel: Well, maybe do it anyway?

Christine: Ok, I'll try.. *Starts to sing, except it sounds so dull and out-of-tune that Lucybones' ears are about to explode.*

LucybonesSquirrel:*covers her ears* Oh my garlic! What a noise!!

Christine: *sighs.* I told ya it wouldn't sound that good.

LucybonesSquirrel: *Removes hands from her head.* I-It's alright. I suspect no one besides me heard you.

Christine: *starts shedding some tears.* WHY ain't my voice the way it used to be!! I'll never be able to sing again if this keeps up!

LucybonesSquirrel: *hugs Christine.* It's ok Christine. Your voice probably aren't the same now, but what matters is that you got friends, and nobody besides us know about your true nature. Anyway, have you been able to control yourself regarding your thirst for blood?

Christine: Well, it's going slow, but... I am making... prooogress.. *are about to lose her mind, but quickly takes out a glass and fills it with fake blood and puts a straw in it.* There Christine, drink up now...

*Christine starts sipping on the glass.*

LucybonesSquirrel: Ah, I see you do have a way of keeping it under control.

Christine: Yeah. And DON'T ever mention that word again! I don't wanna think about it!

LucybonesSquirrel: Alright, ok. I'll promise not to mention it any more. Anyway, should we call this a day?

Christine: Yeah. Come on, let's head out.

LucybonesSquirrel: Alright!

*Both head out*
