Unused graphics
Crover VS the Time (V1.0 to V1.6) may not have as many unused graphics compared to my other games like Kazooa in The Treasure Land, but the one that do exist will be documented on this page.
Backgrounds

A sunset-ish background set above the clouds. This was used for the title screen in the earliest builds of the game when it was called "Dumb Crow VS The Time"

A cloudy background piece. The final game uses a background with more simpler cloud shapes.
Sprites

Very early player sprites. These weren't created for this game, but imported from an earlier project file that contained only these graphics and nothing else.

A upside down star. The player were meant to go back to the beginning of a stage and touch this object after collecting all time cells to go to the next level, similarly to Yoshi's Egg Hunt 4. However, due to some problem with screen tearing that occured at the time, and possibly due to concerns with having enough time left, this mechanic was removed. No builds have survived with this feature intact.

Leftovers title screen gfx from earlier prototypes.

Variations of the player sprites redrawn a bit to be more glitchy-like. Probably another of those moments when I got bored and made these gfx, only to never use them in any way.

Alternate version of Crower's head from the intro. The reason this went unused was probably due to the the smile on his face looking rather awkward. Despite the change, the left nostril wasn't redrawn for the final graphic.
Sound Test

A bunch of number sprites that was used for the sound test screen in early prototypes. Sprite105 is a duplicate of sprite82, but is included here for the sake of completeness.

Unused effect intended for the speakers when a song is being played.

A big sheet of the sound test digits used in the final game.

A death sprite for Crower meant to be used when the timer hits 0 or when hit by the flame in the final stage. A redrawn version of this gfx was later implemented in the V.1.7 update of the game.

Unused version of the big time cell encountered at the end of the final stage.

Crower graphic for the scrapped level title card screens.

Graphics for the unused level select screen still existing in the final game. This is the only indication of the worlds in the game actually having names, even if very generic(like "World 1", "World 2", and so on.). No real world names were ever thought of.

Unused text for the credits screen. The first image also gives further indication of the game's (if barely) inspiration. There used to be more text in the image that have since been removed. No prototypes with the entire text intact survives.

Scratch pad sprite of the flowers seen in the "game beaten" versions of the game's levels, only with its eyes being "^^" instead of simple beady eyes.

Unfinished sprite of the button graphic seen in the last stage of Super Hard Mode.

Unused Question mark box.
Minigame 1

Sprites of Crower.

Boundary object sprite from one of the unused minigames.

Springs. The sideways spring is unused in all of the stages, and doesn't even exist as a object.

Target sprite which is basically just a object that restarts the room when touched.

Diamond object sprite.

Older version of the special stage boundary graphic which is just an edit of the one used in the main game. This is still used in some of the rooms

Unused sidewways spikes.
Minigame 2

Graphics for the scrapped seagull finding minigame.

While this graphic is technically used for a sound controller object, it goes unseen due to the object being invisible. As to why I made this graphic, it was probably another one of those "being-bored" moments.
Super Hard Mode ending

Sprites of Crower sleeping and waking up, along with a bed and pillow. These are seen in the unused rooms intended for the original Super Hard Mode ending.

Scratch pad sprite of Crower waking up, with his hands further down and to the right. I probably kept it around in case I was unhappy with the hands' placement.

Crower sleeping, and a simply-shaped blanket. These were created for the revised Super Hard Mode ending.

Crower with half open eyes, without any pupils. I was going to make this into an animation of Crower looking around the same way Mario does in the ending of SMB2, only to forget about it, with the Super Hard Mode ending being scrapped altogether.

Scratch pad graphic frames. The first is frame 0 of Crower's sleeping animation, only difference is his left eye is less wide. The last frame is a screen rip of SMB2's Cast roll screen that I downloaded off the internet to get the colors needed for the new ending sprites.

Animations of Crower losing his glider leaf and falling. Was intended to be used for the revised version of the scrapped Super Hard Mode ending.

Alternate frames for both animations above. Frame 0 still has the eye positions from Crower's sideways facing sprites, while frame 1 is the first frame of the falling animation, only with the hands higher up, similar to the last frame of the animation.
