Happser the Woodpecker's Quest
Happser the Woodpecker's Quest was a game that was going to star the titular character, going on a adventure helping others in need and such, much like Twelve Tales: Conker 64.
Development on the project didn't get very far though, and after feedback from those who played the demo the game was shelved. I later picked it up in the beginning of March 2007, and retooled the thing into Kazooa’s Bad Strange Day, which was also cancelled in December 2009 due to my desire to work on another project; Kazooa in The Treasure Land.
As it is, the demo is extremely short, with just a single room to run around in. Before this iteration of KBSD got canned, I had it on mind to introduce a secondary playable character, which is basically just a color swap of the main player character. How this character would have played like is really up in the air, since I didn't get the chance to do anything with the sprites that were made.

Toony Tales build
The tile used for the walls is in different colors compared to the Quest build. The player also starts higher in the air. This is not the starting position nor is it due to a change in room layout, but more a result of using a function of a action library which places a object in the center of the view.
If the action is removed, this is shown to be the player's initial starting position.
Quest build

Player graphics have been redrawn slightly, now having somewhat taller, hollow pupils. These sprites would end up becoming the base for Kazooa's sprites in Kazooa's Bad Strange Day.

Colors were changed.
A copy of the background used in the demo. I do remember that I was gonna make a new background for use in the game, but what exactly I don't know.
Tile of walls changed colors, and the player now starts in the position as defined in the room editor of Game Maker.
