Demo 070.0
Demo 070.0 is a early development build of the game, and is 462 days older than the final build of the game. Is the third build to have been shown on RareWareCentral, and the second build have debug features enabled.
(This page is a work-in-progress. The stuff related to this prototype page will eventually be added at some point.)

while no visual differences can be found, invisible marker objects were put in the spots where some of the enemies would be at later on. These objects served as a reminder to myself to eventually start placing some enemies in the stage. This seems to be the only stage I put such objects on, as no other stages either in this or later prototypes have any enemy marker objects in them.

Now has a proper boss that is appropriate for the theme of World 4. It would be carried on up to the Demo 073.0 build where I began to give it a slight change, only to completely drop it when the demo 8.0 build was made.

Features a very peculiar background at this point. The original background still exists but has been made invisible, as I was still undecided on whether I should of redo the background. In the end, I decided to keep the background that has been around since early builds, and... I suppose it was probably for the better.
One thing to note here, is that the backup version of this build removed the music controller object, probably to make it more similar to a N64 prototype build of Earthworm Jim 3D where music also isn't played on that game's title screen(which was replaced with gameplay demos in the final).
The fact the sound controller was added back for the final version of the build suggests the change was maybe only temporary, or I decided that having no music play there wouldn't make any sense since it was heard in earlier builds. It has been so long now that such small things like these are starting to fade from my memory.
By switching the visibility of the layers around we can see that the original background is still here, but the TV has been removed.

The stacks of books and garlic has been added, except the screen on the TV is still black.

This screen first appears in this build. While the screen still exists in the final game, the object that's responsible for drawing the "Lovely Logo" text was repurposed for a controller object found in the final boss battle, and as such no text will appear anymore.
