Demo 1.1
Demo 1.1 is a very early development build of the game, and is 1096 days older than the final build of the game.
(This page is a work-in-progress. The stuff related to this prototype page will eventually be added at some point.)
--Alternate Game Over screens--
According to internal room names present in backup 1 and the final build of demo 1.1 there was going to be separate game over screens for each world:
room307_gameover
room320_gameoverworld7_hardmode
room321_gameoverworld1_superhardmode
room322_gameoverworld2_superhardmode
room323_gameoverworld3_superhardmode
room324_gameoverworld4_superhardmode
room325_gameoverworld5_superhardmode
room326_gameoverworld6_superhardmode
room327_gameoverworld7_superhardmode
Unfortunately most of the room names have been changed, so it's clear that the rooms inbetween were already being repurposed for the episode title cards and coffee table book. This is also the first mention of the unused end scene for World 7.
Interestingly, the above strings also mentions hard and super hard modes. There would have been hard and even harder versions of the game's stages(probably also including the bosses). This was axed early on because the game gets progressively more difficult towards the end, and due to the original game lacking any way of saving progress having harder versions of levels would have made it take even longer to finish the game in one sitting.

Misc screen differences
While not many screen differences exist in this build, what has been changed are notable enough. The episode title card screens have now been implemented, albeit in a rough state. They all lack the objects found in the final version like enemies and episode titles, and never saw that many updates and changes until later during the middle of the game's development.
The cursor has changed from a white glove to Kazooa's hand."START" and "PASSWORD" now use the letters from customized graphics, and are placed vertically instead of horizontally. The info bubble now uses its final bouncy graphic and are placed on the right side next to the TV.
TV now has a background of static noise. The newsreader Dumb-Crow is in, though his hands are smaller. The panel that cycles through pictures of Wario are missing.

The very first appearance of the first enemy testing room. Shown in the image are some images on top of the walls. They are normally hidden behind the walls so they appear behind the monitor graphics, and were made visible for the screenshot. This room seems to be based on a room from World 3, so that is why the background from that world appears, along with these monitor images. The final version removes the monitor images, probably to help a bit with performance, and because they didn't need to be there.
Base Images
Contains the parts of the Dumb-Crow newsreading character from the story and blooper cutscenes, including the separate parts that were used to assemble them into complete graphics. While it has been cropped to remove excess white space, it is otherwise identical to a image file found in the Game Maker assets archive.

Was going to be used for when Kazooa's dialogue text is printed out during cutscenes. It was replaced in the final version with the Uncle John Reveal tune.
