Demo 3.0

Demo 3.0 is a very early development build of the game, and is 779 days older than the final build of the game.

(This page is a work-in-progress. The stuff related to this prototype page will eventually be added at some point.)

Graphical changes

0.5 3.0

Kazooa has additional frames intended to be displayed when idling for a time. They were dropped because I didn't know how best to implement them. The first frame of both the right and left sprites was left in since I thought they looked good enough. Odd thing I didn't bother making a similar frame for the downwards-facing sprite though... ah well, maybe it didn't cross my mind then, what with having lots of other things with the project left to do and finish.

0.6 3.0

Unused duplicate of Kazooa's downwards sprite changed to death sprite. It didn't get used until demo 3.2.

0.7 3.0

Toy Box-like wall graphic changed to moustache-less Wario-Nose.

World 5

Level layout changed to how it would look like in the final version, with the upper left part of the room being changed to look less like a Crower VS The Time knockoff.

Some coins were removed while others were shifted around.

World 6

Level has been redesigned to work around performance issues on WinXP(at the time early development of the game occured, that is.).

Also shows more clearly the spot where the hidden treasure chest is located in the final version, whose treasure would end up not having any kind of reward coded when picking it up

All floor tiles except where the boss arena is have been removed to help with performance. The layout itself remains the same like previous builds.

The large rounded rectangle was broken off into 12 smaller ones, and a slightly bigger one was added on top of the 4th upper right rectangle. This is probably where the image of the treasure would have been displayed. It was moved to the left side in later builds due to the pictures requiring a bigger size.

Apart from the upper part of the screen now being filled, the page itself remains the same like earlier builds.

Apart from the change in color, nothing has changed here.

No differences apart from the change in wall graphic.
