Demo 40-01

Demo 40-01 is a early development build that is 639 days older than the final build of the game. Stuff like bugs, cutscenes, and so on are about to be fixed in preparation for the Demo 040.2 build. But there's still a few things with this build that makes it not quite ready for deviantart just yet.

(This page is a work-in-progress. The stuff related to this prototype page will eventually be added at some point. The screens for the episode title cards will also be redone to compare with a somewhat later build after demo 1.1)

Misc screen differences

The episode title card screens now have titles written on them, although they use white Comic Sans MS text as a placeholder.

The screen is now the same height as the final, although the skip cutscene indicator is still missing.

Now has the background featured in the other ending scenes, and Kazooa is also seen falling down, although she doesn't stop after reaching the sofa.

No differences. Title is the same as final.

Referred to as "Heaven of Cloudstocks!" instead of "Cloudstocks Heaven!".

Referred to as "Monitor-ish Peaks!" instead of "Land of the Alien-Stocks!". The former name makes sense with the general Monitor theme of World 3. As for the latter name, the only thing it would make sense with is the boss at the end, but the enemies are just normal-looking Woodsters. Thinking back on the change of theme, I think the former Monitor theme made much more sense, considering I tried my best to keep the theme for the world, but... well, stuff happens all the time during development.

Is named "Boogered enough?!!" instead of "The Booger Kingdom!". Probably couldn't think up a better title and quickly wrote something more humorous.

Title is the same as final.

Is named "Is THIS Hell or what?!" instead of "Hell of The Devil-Stocks!". Another of those moments when I couldn't think up a better name for a world...
