Demo 8.0

Demo 8.0 is a early development build of the game, and is 234 days older than the final build of the game.

(This page is a work-in-progress. The stuff related to this prototype page will eventually be added at some point.)

Graphical changes

053.0

World 1

Boss

071.0 8.0-onwards

Exactly the same as the final game now.

World 2

Level 2

052.0 8.0-onwards

Exactly the same as the final game now.

Backup1

Although everything else is the same as the final game, Kazooa still faces the wrong way upon starting the level.

Level 3

070.0 8.0-onwards

Exactly the same as the final game now.

Boss

071.0 8.0-onwards

Exactly the same as the final game now.

World 3

Level 1

061.1 8.0 Final V1

The theme of the world has changed. The toy theme intended for World 4 was being resurrected for this world. It didn't last for long though.

Level 2

073.0 8.0 Final V1

The two enemies at the upper right corner was adjusted a bit. A further five enemies was also added.

Backup1

While the enemies at the upper right corner has already been adjusted, the other enemies have yet to be added.

Level 3

073.0 8.0 Final V1

More coins, garlics, enemies, and a treasure chest has been added.

Boss

073.0 8.0 Final V1

The monitor boss is gone, and in its place is the World 1 boss as a placeholder for the boss that would end up being in the final game.

Backup1

The pipes are gone, and the boss object is now visible. Still doesn't do anything due to its coding not having been started.

Backup2

Even though the the world theme has changed, the boss is still here, and Kazooa now faces upwards.

Backup3

The then-unfinished boss has been replaced with the boss from World 1. Kazooa remains in the same position.

World 4

Level 1

061.0 8.0 Final V1

Similar to the final game, except there's still a few things missing.

Backup1

A single treasure chest is missing.

Level 2

070.0 8.0 Final V1

The bottom left corner was finished up, and a further bunch of Wario-Nose enemies has been added.

Backup1

The Wario-Nose enemies found in the upper part of the level are missing.

Level 3

061.0 8.0 Final V1

More Wario-Nose enemies added, and the tresure chest in the middle of the room was relocated to the top right.

Boss

061.0 8.0 Final V1

Although Kazooa is now facing the boss, she stands one tile further down compared to the final game.

World 5

Level 1

073.0 8.0 Final V1

Mines, more enemies, and a single garlic were added. The tank enemy was removed(again) due to it being unfinished at the time.

Backup1

Several enemies had yet to be added, and the tank enemy had yet to be removed.

Level 2

073.0 8.0 Final V1

More enemies added, and a few garlic items was added to the bottom left corner.

Backup1

Only the bazooka enemies and two garlics had been added at this point.

Level 3

3.2 8.0 Final V1

.

Boss

073.0 8.0 Final V1

While similar to demo 073.0, the garlics are now there, and kazooa starts at her final position.

Backup1

Although Kazooa is already facing the boss, there are far more garlics here. I was probably having a different behavior and strategy in mind for the boss, only to later simplify it.

World 6

Level 1

073.0 8.0 Final V1

The last four world 6 enemies that were missing has been added.

Level 2

073.0 8.0 Final V1

Object layout is mostly final, except the rocks blocking the path down below are still absent.

Level 3

3.2 8.0 Final V1

Layout is very much finalized now, apart from a row of walls being missing before the group of enemies at the top right of the room, making it possible to see the end of the wall below.

Backup1

Only the world 6 enemies have been added, and only 4 of them. While three of them are in their final places for most part, the fourth enemy is placed where the Cloudstock enemies are in later builds. I must of have had something different in mind for this part.

Boss

041.2 8.0 Final V1

World 1 boss replaced with the actual boss.

World 7

Level 1

053.0 8.0 Final V1

Layout is finalized. Only things that still differs from the final is the hidden treasure chest spot being missing, and a couple floor tiles still being embedded inside the wall at the bottom part of the level. The enemies that sticks their forks at the player were shifted over about 40 pixels to the right, probably to make it more obvious it actually hits the player. They were shifted back in the final game though.

Backup1

Not much has been done yet besides adding the hydrant object, a few coins and garlics, and a treasure chest.

Level 2

060.0 8.0 Final V1

Layout is final, apart from a missing treasure chest.

Backup1

Missing a huge number of coins and enemies, and featuring a walking world 7 enemy in place of the other one that attacks the player with its fork.

Level 3

071.0 8.0 Final V1

Layout is final, apart from the hidden treasure chest being missing.

Backup1

While the layout of the stage is final, it is still missing a huge number of things like coins, enemies, and such.

Boss

073.0 8.0-onwards

Is the same as the final game now.

Backup1

Kazooa is in her final position, but is still facing downwards.

070.1 8.0 Final V1

The TV screen is now the same as the final game.

053.0 8.0 Final V1

Password option removed due to the feature being unfinished.

052.1 8.0 Final V1

The last enemy page now have the bosses listed. Boss 5 is lacking its fists though much like his in-game counterpart.

071.1 Final V1

Is the same as the final game.

071.0 8.0 Final V1

Almost similar to the final game. The episode title is still rendered with standard text, only using a different font now. The font was changed to avoid the possibility of people poking fun at and mocking the usage of the Comic Sans MS font, which to my knowledge is still an ongoing thing even to this day.

40.01 8.0 Final V1

Enemy added.

041.1 8.0 Final V1

While the wall graphic had already been changed, the monitor images behind them have yet to be removed, although they are only barely visible due to the new wall graphic obscuring it.

061.1 8.0 Final V1

Enemy added. Now has the final title of "The Booger Kingdom!".

072.0 8.0 Final V1

The pile of treasure is now in, but the sparkles are not.

072.0 8.0 Final V1

The pile of treasure is now in, but the sparkles are not.
