Demo 8.5 is a early development build of the game, and is 181 days older than the final build of the game.

The sand now has a texture. It is extremely saturated here though. I remember making it look less saturated in the final game because I found it to be severly distracting as the background scrolled. As for this room, most of the contents had yet to be deleted.

Beach Surfer replaces Run Kazooie Run! from this build onwards(not completely though since a unused copy of it can be found in the final game).

The goal tile has been added. The start marker tiles was also redrawn to have the word be split across two tiles.
