Trish Interview: By LucybonesSquirrel

LucybonesSquirrel: Ok, so today's interview is a bit different; Today I'm not sitting in the interview room in the Squirrel family's home, but in my own helicopter. The person I'll be interviewing today is living on a island far away from Windy and the Panther Kingdom, and is the only one living there.
*LucybonesSquirrel looks out and spots a lone island in the middle of the water.*
LucybonesSquirrel: Ah, there it is. Now, to see if I can land somewhere...
*A moment later, after LucybonesSquirrel has landed her helicopter on the island.*
LucybonesSquirrel: Phew, at last. Had a bit of a problem with seagulls flying towards me while setting off to land, but other than that things went fine. Now, to see if she is home...
*LucybonesSquirrel heads to the door of the only house on the island and knocks on it.*
LucybonesSquirrel: Right. She hasn't been on a interview for ages, so I'm not sure how much she's up for it. Maybe I'll just go easy for now...
*A seagull flies over LucybonesSquirrel and poops on her head before flying off again.*
LucybonesSquirrel: Grr, you little... bastard! *starts cleaning her hair with her tail.* Right Lucybones. Remain in good spirits now...
*The door opens.*
Trish: Hello, who is it? Oh, it's you Milletta!
LucybonesSquirrel: Hi Trish. A bit unexpected to see me around here, am I right?
Trish: Sure is. Please do come in! Did you row by boat by any chance? I mean, my house is so far away, and...
LucybonesSquirrel: Um, I took a helicopter because I didn't want to pay for a simple rowing boat.
Trish: Oh, alright. Anyway, come in. *Let's LucybonesSquirrel inside her house.*
LucybonesSquirrel: I must say, that it sure looks quite cozy and... personalized in here, like with all the pictures on the walls, figurines of various song birds, and so on...
Trish: Heh heh, glad you like them. I made them myself.
LucybonesSquirrel: Huh? This is all your work??
Trish: Yeah. After moving here, I decided to take up a hobby in painting and sculpting tree figurines. I even made this tree figurine all by my own imagination! *takes one of her figurines and shows it to LucybonesSquirrel.*
LucybonesSquirrel: Wow! I must say that you are very talented! *takes the figurine and looks at it. The figurine in question resembles the main character Mackenzie from the Touch Detective games to 100%* And you did this one entirely from your imagination??
Trish: I sure did. Don't know how it turned out like this, but I'm still proud of what I did with this piece.
LucybonesSquirrel: Better put it back so it doesn't break... *puts the figuring back in its place.*
Trish: Would you like something to chew on and drink? I've got cookies and buns, and some tea if you'd like.
LucybonesSquirrel: Er... sure, I'll have some.
Trish: Alrighty. Coming up right away. *goes to the kitchen to prepare the tea and cookies.*
LucybonesSquirrel: I thought that Trish would be all lonely and... well, lonely by moving out here all by herself. Turns out she is managing it just fine... and things in here are looking much better than I expected it to be...
Trish: You can come into the kitchen if you'd like. You must be tired after having flown all the way to this teeny little island!
LucybonesSquirrel: Alright, I will!
*A moment later.*
Trish: How's the tea, Milletta?
LucybonesSquirrel: Absolutely wonderful!
Trish: And how were the buns and cookies, if you have taken any bite of it yet?
LucybonesSquirrel: Wonderful. You make some of the best cookies I've ever eaten!
Trish: Thanks! *her cheeks starts to blush*
LucybonesSquirrel: So... how are you having it these days?
Trish: Oh, just fine. As I said earlier I have several things of mine to keep my mind occupied with, like painting and making figurines.
LucybonesSquirrel: You don't have a TV, by any chance?
Trish: Naw I don't. Haven't seen a TV since my time of living in Windy. I do have a radio though.
LucybonesSquirrel: So, what are you using it for?
Trish: Mainly listening to the news, and weather forecasts. And maybe listening to some music if I feel like it.
LucybonesSquirrel: Is the radio the only thing you have?
Trish: I've also got a stereo with a built-in CD player. I'm mostly using it for listening to CDs with ambience sounds for relaxation.
LucybonesSquirrel: Are you still practicing Karate to this day?
Trish: I still am. I'm even better at it now. What more, I could even lift my own brother if I had the chance to!
LucybonesSquirrel: You mean Conker, right?
Trish: Yeah, that's my big brother. I can only wonder what he and his family are doing these days.
LucybonesSquirrel: They're doing fine. From what I know Conker is still up to his antics when he's not at home. Only thing he's got to mind though is to not go to any pubs late at night, or even have himself a beer...
Trish: I see. How's Berri and Cherri?
LucybonesSquirrel: Berri is doing fine from what I know. She is still doing her aerobics every now and then, with her daughter joining in at times. As for Cherri, she's having her adventures which is pretty similar to what her dad was having back when he had his bad fur day. Except that no alcohol is being had, and some things might differ...
Trish: How's Kiddie by the way?
LucybonesSquirrel: Oh. he's still in Windy. By now he's spending his time at the SHC army as a janitor of all possible things. He has made friends with Rodent it seems.
Trish: Is Kiddie still the same, dimwitted sibling that I used to know? I mean no ill by saying this...
LucybonesSquirrel: No no. He knows very well that he can be a bit... dimwitted at times. He is no longer at the school he attended back in the early days though.
Trish: You mentioned that Kiddie is now in the army. I'm kinda out of the loop when it comes to Kiddie... When and how did this happen?
LucybonesSquirrel: Sometime after you moved away from Windy. From what he told me, Kiddie was just in his house one day when he received a letter asking him to join the Squirrel High Command. With no second thoughts in mind, and feeling he's doing nothing good around the place, Kiddie applied right away.
Trish: Oh dear... I can only imagine what he must be going through there.
LucybonesSquirrel: He's doing alright, as far as he's told me. He is mostly doing some cleaning around the base, and standing guard at the entrance when needed. So he's not out on any wars or anything. It could change one day. When is not certain, but someday it may happen.
Trish: I certainly hope to meet him and the others again someday, especially Kiddie. I haven't seen him since I moved to this island.
LucybonesSquirrel: I apologize for asking you this, but... why did you decide to leave Windy?
Trish: It was mainly due to all the noise going on outside. While I could put up with it for some time, in the end I just couldn't find the peace and quiet that I was seeking. One day I decided to pack my bags and book a boat to a island that was so far away from anything noisy you could imagine. There was nothing on the island though. Being my creative self, I decided I had to build myself a house first and foremost. Luckily for me there were some trees on the island, so I decided to use the resources the island had to offer. I had the tools needed for building though, so that was no issue for me.
LucybonesSquirrel: And the radio, and stereo?
Trish: I also had those as well before moving here.
LucybonesSquirrel: Well, not only do you have a nice looking house on a island of your very own. You also seem to grow your own trees, vegetables, and such outside.
Trish: Yes. Even though I live here now, it is still important for me to maintain and grow the resources on this island. This is all I've got. If I deplete all the resources, there's nothing left for me to make use of.
LucybonesSquirrel: I must imagine how spoiled everyone else is at Windy, and I'm not referring to the Squirrel family in any way. I'm aware that some bad stuff must happen to them too.
Trish: Are you living in luxury?
LucybonesSquirrel: Nope. I don't even live in Windy. I live somewhere completely different. And I'm not making much money either. But I do live a life just like the others.
Trish: Ouch. I do hope things turn out better for you.
LucybonesSquirrel: It's ok. I actually do like being for myself every now and then. I'm a bit shy in public spaces...
Trish: Oh? I didn't know that.
LucybonesSquirrel: Yeah. It's not visible on the outside, but deep inside I prefer peace and quiet around me.
Trish: What a coincidence. You're almost exactly like me in a way!
LucybonesSquirrel: Well, suppose we do share a few traits...
Trish: Hm. By what I've heard so far, and listening to you during this entire moment... did you come all the way here to interview me?
LucybonesSquirrel: Well, yes. But how did you know that?
Trish: By just listening to you, and the way you asked some of the questions.
LucybonesSquirrel: Alright... I thought you weren't prepared for anything like this, especially after so very long, so I thought I'd try to go easy on you for a bit before revealing my intent of coming here. But it seems you've already figured it out.
Trish: Tee hee. Well, it all clicked in me the moment we sat down here in the kitchen. I just tried to pretend I didn't know.
LucybonesSquirrel: Well I say. You are a very clever girl!
Trish: Thank you. *blushes a little bit.*
LucybonesSquirrel: So, with the interview almost done, would you mind answering a few more questions?
Trish: Go ahead!
LucybonesSquirrel: So, after all these years, having first lived in Nutty Woods, later Windy, and now on this island far far away from civilisation... what do you think of yourself today?
Trish: It's all fine I guess. Much more than just fine! My times in Nutty Woods may have come and gone, and Windy may not have been the best place for me to live on, but I'll still remember the times that were had back then. From reading in my library to having to keep Kiddie in check in our house in Nutty Woods, and meeting the Squirrel family in Windy, a lot of fun was being had, and I'll never forget the moment it was revealed that I was Cherri's aunt. My tears almost flowed down my eyes when I heard that...
LucybonesSquirrel: And what about your brother siblings?
Trish: Well, Kiddie may be a bit dimwitted and absent-minded, but on the inside, I think he's the cutest brother I've ever known. As for Conker, while I don't look up to him, I still regard him highly, and I wish him the best of luck with his family.
LucybonesSquirrel: Alright. Do you have any plans to return to Nutty Woods in the future?
Trish: I'm afraid not. I'm liking my life as it is here. I'm not even sure what I would think if I ever came back to the place you just mentioned, even if it is just for a teeny little visit.
LucybonesSquirrel: But, surely you must be missing the squirrel family?
Trish: I do sometimes, Cherri especially. I may think of paying them another visit someday.
LucybonesSquirrel: Ah, ok.
Trish: Just a little question for you... how is Christine doing these days?
LucybonesSquirrel: Ah, she's doing alright. She's even found a new friend with Cherri now.
Trish: Oh, that is good to hear. How are they like together?
LucybonesSquirrel: Well, Christine has turned out to be a gamer, just like Cherri. She sometimes even tags along with Cherri on her adventures. For the latter, it has only been around Windy so far. Christine is still sensitive to bright light, and keeps the shades on her face at all times.
Trish: Ah, ok. I hope to also meet her again someday.
LucybonesSquirrel: You may have your chance someday.
Trish: Oh, and one more question... how have you been doing lately, apart from what you told me earlier?
LucybonesSquirrel: Well, it's going a bit up and down. But I'll manage it in any way I can.
Trish: Ok, thanks for the answer.
LucybonesSquirrel: You're welcome. Um... well, I don't have anything else to ask, so... Do you mind me staying for a night or two? I'm a bit tired after sitting in the helicopter all day.
Trish: Aw, I don't mind a little bit of company in my house. Besides, we both share a trait, so I find it just fine. I'm sure you won't be disturbing me during my moment of meditation or yoga, or will you?
LucybonesSquirrel: I certainly won't be disturbing you. I'll be respecting your space.
Trish: And I'll respect your space as well. Anyway, you wanna sit down and meditate with me to the sounds of beautiful birds and nature?
LucybonesSquirrel: I surely will.
Trish: Alright. Let's go to the living room.
LucybonesSquirrel: Don't you have a room specifically for meditation?
Trish: I do. But I thought about sitting in the living room for a change.
LucybonesSquirrel: Oh, alright.
Trish: Anyway, let's go and do some meditation my young, cute raccoon girl! I bet it'll be refreshing for the both of us.
*LucybonesSquirrel and Trish both head towards the living room.*
*Interview on meditation.*
