Yoshi's Egg Hunt 4: Starfruits for a star

While this is not a game made by myself, I thought I'd better create a page for it to make it a bit more known, since no matter where you look on the internet there's absolutely NO mention of this game.

Anyway, Yoshi's Egg Hunt 4: Starfruits for a star, often referred to as simply Yoshi's Egg Hunt 4, is a game with a very simple plot; The Bob-Ombs have stolen the Yoshis' eggs, and Yoshi has to traverse various worlds to retrieve the eggs. To advance to the next stage, the player needs to collect all eggs in a stage to make the star fruit appear. Touching it advances the player to the next stage.

Yoshi's Egg hunt was a series of games developed by Fredde Edman. According to the last modified date of the executable the game was finished on february 4th 2005 20:06 timezone GMT 1+(as found in the zip archive). Yoshi's Egg Hunt 4 is so far the only title in the Yoshi's Egg Hunt series to have survived, and would have been lost forever if it weren't for me downloading it back in 2006. There were other titles submitted years ago according to the included .wma file, though those games have since been lost to time.

A little bit of trivia; this game sort of influenced me in making one of my then later games, Crower VS The Time, though that game had absolutely no enemies or bosses compared to YEH4(with the exception of the flame chasing the player in the final level, if that could even be counted as a boss).

In addition to having the original game on this page, I also made a version which fixes a few problems and bugs with the original game, and also restores some stuff that went used. Besides these changes, the rest of the game remains untouched.

More collectibles and additional Yoshi types??

Version: Info
Original: Download Original version.
V2: Download A version that fixes some bugs and issues, and restores some cut content.
V2.1: Download Fixed a bug with two of the Goomba enemies being stuck at walls in 1-4. The bug was introduced when lowering the objects' movement speed to compensate for the framerate change from 20 to 30.
