Evolution of Princess Pearly

Not much is known about Princess Pearly, mainly because the character barely had the chance of being further developed over the years. What little is known about her is that she's a princess who is named after a special sea treasure; a pearl. This is even reflected on her dress design.

Compared to other characters, Pearly hasn't changed much in terms of appearance. Mainly a few details were being changed or slightly refined over the years, but that's about it.

December 2006

The earliest appearance of Princess Pearly. She's posing similarly to Princess Peach's taunt in Super Smash Bros. Melee, only difference being that Pearly's giving the victory sign rather than pointing with her index finger.

November 2009

Pearly's design have barely changed here from the first pic, apart from her dress collar now having more rounded edges, and having gained ankle bracelets on each foot.

January 2021

Pearly's looking about the same like the earlier pics. She's had her ankle bracelets removed though, the diamond on her crown was changed to a pearl to better match with the design of her dress, and the rim on he bottom of her crown was removed. The shines on her eyes was also removed as was the dress collar, now being V-shaped at the neck. Is also the first drawing where the third upper eyelash on her eyes changed to a smaller one like the other lashes.
